Abstract
Certain technical details are considered important to ease the laparoscopic performance of a Heller myotomy combined with a Dor antireflux procedure for esophageal achalasia. A special emphasis is given to intraoperative esophagoscopy combined with a mild balloon distension of the esophagogastric junction. These maneuvers prove helpful in identifying the esophagogastric region, easing the myotomy, and controlling its completeness.File in questo prodotto:
