(AUC: 0.557). In this population, at 90% of sensitivity, the cut-off of %p2PSA and PHI were, respectively, 1.37 and 29.2 with a specificity of 33.3 and 11.1%. With a PHI cut-off of 29.2 a total of 44 (18.4%) biopsies could have been avoided in men under 60 and only 2 cases of cancer with a Gleason score of 7 (3+4) would have been missed. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings show that %p2PSA and PHI are accurate predictors of PCa in men with tPSA in the range of 2-10ng/ml, and they are the strongest predictors of PCa in men under 60.
